It is optimized for high-quality edging of lenses with hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings. The system features an improved lens clamping mechanism with anti-slip technology, ensuring stable processing throughout the entire cycle and minimizing the risk of lens damage or rejection.
The machine also operates with a new type of blockers, providing a larger blocking surface area for increased stability during processing.
Processing of all frame and lens types – bevels, grooves, and rimless lenses. The machine supports 8 types of bevels, including Mini Bevel, Partial Bevel, Asymmetric Bevel, Semi-U Bevel, Deep Step Bevel, Step Bevel, and Over-Frame Bevel.
It supports Hybrid Groove and Rimless processing, as well as precise groove milling and drilling for rimless frames, ensuring maximum flexibility and accuracy in every configuration.
An integrated JOB Manager allows creation, saving, and reprocessing of shapes, management of parameters and bevel types, and fast reproduction of previous jobs, ensuring consistency in serial production.
Compared to the HPE-910, the HPE-990 delivers up to 30% faster processing thanks to a more powerful inverter-controlled motor, providing higher torque, smoother operation, and shorter processing cycles without compromising precision.
After the tracing system captures the lens shape and curvature, the software performs precise calculations and provides 2D and 3D visualization before processing.

In manual mode, the operator has full control, allowing precise adjustment of the position of the facet or cord relative to a reference point or surface, enabling fine-tuning for specific frames and individual requirements.
The HPE-990 features an advanced tracing system with metal anti-scratch pins, ensuring long-term precision, reduced maintenance, and high-resolution measurements even for complex lenses and frames.
Unlike previous models with plastic tips, which wear down and become blunt over time, the metal components do not deform and do not require frequent replacement, reducing maintenance and increasing reliability.
Thanks to next-generation drive components and an optimized software algorithm, the shaping of the form and basic curvature is carried out faster and with higher resolution, ensuring precise processing even for complex lenses and frames.
